Week one......mud galore!!!

The digger arrived as planned on Tuesday and Chris made great progress clearing the site and lowering the plot by 300mm. The soil was used to recreate a Devon Bank along the fence in the paddock.

With the bushes and shrubs cleared the plot suddenly seemed huge!

The dead tree at the end of the plot was also removed and it reminded me exactly why I had fallen in love with the site at first sight! The views across the parkland are awesome and our decision to go for floor to ceiling glazing in the sitting room window was definitely the right one.

In just four days the plot was a very different place to be.....
